Occupational health services are intended to provide timely and appropriate medical care & disability management services specifically for occupational injuries or illness. Services that are provided include:

  • assessment, treatment, monitoring & support of occupational injury or illness
  • additional occupational health services such as:
  • disability management (assessment of medical factors and medical
  • management)
  • WCB and H&S reporting
  • fitness for duty, and work restrictions
  • referrals to provider network for disability related examinations/treatment
  • periodic health assessments (audiometric testing, pulmonary function tests,
  • eye exams etc.)
  • biological monitoring
  • alcohol and drug testing & education
  • occupational medical surveillance
  • workplace vaccinations programs (e.g. seasonal influenza)
  • supporting Client programs
  • ergonomic assessments
  • liaison with external medical profession
  • Care and control of Medical Equipment (Maintenance/Calibrations)
  • Pre-Employment Medical Assessments (PEM’s)
